AMCN Adventure Bike feature at Stump Hill

Stump Hill is a farm stay about 10kms out of Mansfield, AMCN recently stayed overnight with two days riding on there best selection of this years Adventure Bikes, with eight riders pushing the bikes over all types of terrain, to decide which bike they would award as the best adventure bike.

The bikes represented BMW, KTM, Honda, Triumph, Royal Enfield, Ducati and CFMoto. Look for the upcoming edition of AMCN with the 2017 Adventure Bike feature.

The bikes ranged from small capacity off road bikes through to 1200cc bikes for both on and off riding, to see how some of these riders handle these bikes is amazing.

2017 Wings For Life World Run

With a radical concept, the Wings for Life World Run is a global race with a difference. Instead of a finish line, runners and wheelchair competitors – from beginners to elite athletes – race side by side to keep ahead of the Catcher Car. All competitors have to wear the official PUMA safety event shirt, and the Led Lenser NEO headlamp as they will be running along the Monash Freeway in total darkness.

This years Melbourne winner was Frenchman Teddy Bezancon who made it 70.22kms before the Catcher Car caught him bringing an end to the race.

Reebok Crossfit campain #bemorehuman

My first shoot for Reebok Australia covering their #bemorehuman campaign, with the Reebok Crossfit athletes Rob Forte, Jenna Douros, Tia-Clair Toomey and Nathan Jones building a gym on the rooftop of Footscrays Dream Factory, then running an early morning training session for media and prize winners. Aprroximately 40 athletes did an incredible workout from 6.30 in the morning under instructions from the Crossfit athletes and Reebok ambassador Rachael Finch. Great advantage to have a couple of prime lenses to shoot in the early morning light, the Canon 24 f1.4 and the Sigma 50 f1.4 allowed me to shoot at reasonably high shutter speeds to stop the action without flash or high ISO.  The following is a selection of images from the day:

Emirates Melbourne Cup Tour 2016

One of the biggest storms i have seen blow in made the photo op with the Melbourne Cup on the tarmac of Tullamarine Airport a fairly rushed job, and thankfully i had a very helpful security guard on hand to stop my Profoto OCF softbox from being blown down the runway. The shoot was organised to promote the start of the Emirates Melbourne Cup Tour for 2016 which will see the famous trophy tour 34 destinations across Australia and New Zealand.
