2016 EurAsia Cup in KL

Took a very quick trip to Malaysia to cover the 2016 EurAsia Cup for the Asian Tour.  Held for only the second time the tournament was played at Glenmarie Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, in a similar format to both the Presidents and Ryder Cups. This year the European team was too strong and won comfortably 18.5 to 5.5.

2016 LSLSC Pier to Pub

Third year of MDPhotography covering the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club gmhba Pier to Pub and Mountain to Surf as official photographer. A big day starting with volunteers setting up the course long before any competitors arrive, competitors signing in and finally swimmers hitting the water. Olympic hopeful Sam Sheppard made it five wins in a row and in the womens Harriet Brown won convincingly

Photo shoot with VIS athlete long jumper Brooke Stratton

It is always a pleasure for Melbourne Sports Photographer MDPhotography to work with up and coming athletes from the Victorian Institute of Sport, this time Rio Olympic hopeful long jumper Brooke Stratton. The main focus of the shoot was to show Brooke in full flight, and to create the impression of her "flying" we introduced flour to both hide the background and place her in a floating environment. We have also produced a behind the scenes video to show Brooke in training and to give an insight in to how the image was produced.
